Additional credit card holder

You can have an additional card holder on your credit card. Both of you will have your own card, but will share the credit limit available.

The main credit card holder will be liable for the debt accrued on both cards. This means, as the main card holder, you will be responsible for any spending made on either of the cards.

You'll need the permission of the additional card holder to share their information before completing the application.

Here are some things that you need to know:

• Both card holders share the same credit limit
• Your statement will detail purchases made by all cards on your account
• An additional card on the same account is free
• You can apply by post.

• 18 years of age
• UK resident

You can apply to add an additional card holder by following these steps:

1. Print off an additional card holder application form.
2. Check that the additional card holder meets our eligibility criteria.
3. Enter the additional card holder's details.
